December 5th 2009.
Event 10 of the 2009 Dick-athlon started with a bang. A controversial bang.
Although the rules stated that:
"The Winner and Loser of event nine (Bowling) will turn up in their respective jacket and suit"
La Resistance Barnish decided that a detour via Clark's to pick up the winner's jacket was too much effort and turned up sans said garment.
Once Chairman Clark arrived there was some who wanted to vote on the rule breaking, but the majority were hungry for the game to start and the vote was brushed away.
(Please note Dick-athletes: it has since been brought to The Chairman's attention by Lightfoot that McMenamin broke this rule after event 5 (the horses) and was deducted 2 points
"The loser must wear the loser suit all morning until the return to Preston. No tying round the waist shenanigans. Non-compliance results in minus 2 points"
..........if only this evidence had been pointed out on the evening it may well have been another dick-athlete holding the Winner's cup aloft on the awards night.
.....once the controversy was wiped away like a dirty stain it was crunch time.........All Lightfoot needed to do was to finish above Barnish to win the Dick-athlon.......All McMenamin needed to do was to finish above the Dick-athlon sh!thouse to ensure he didn't end up in the loser suit on awards night............but fate, it transpired had other plans...............

The Dick-athlete's Dick-athlete played with his heart as opposed to his balls like last year but the outcome was the same. He won. His success at this event ensured his bronze medal placing. The Go-Karting event was and is still a sore point for Flynn. If it hadn't have been for Clark knocking him off the track Flynn would have won the Dick-athlon 2009.
